Mothers Day

Hi. Well this is a first – me writing something for the website. Well today is Mothers Day and I woke up to bacon and eggs for breakfast. Yum. I was also given a lovely card from Cam and Brook and a book called Cloud Farm that I had been keen on reading for ages. And last week at kindy Brook had made me another lovely Mothers Day card. So its been a great day so far.

Cam is currently out on a bike ride – despite the freezing weather. And yesterday I played my first outdoor netball game for the season. Our team did quite well but we did lose. However I played a second game straight after for my coaches team and we won that. Needless to say I am feeling rather stiff and sore today! As well as feeing generally sore all over I am suffering a sprained finger and ankle and a few scratches! It can be a very vicious game….

Not too much other news. Brook has learnt to write his name which is very exciting. Now nearly everything in the house is labelled with his name though! Including all the windows, the fridge, the table, his toy boxes and endless bits of paper etc etc.
